Memory Foam mattress recommendations

Options
I have had a memory foam with reflex foam mattress for about 7 to 8 years and my bones have been thankful for the comfort and support.

The old bed was a Superking size and had 2 x 3ft mattresses, my side having a 3 inch memory foam on top of 7 inches reflex foam and cost about £300 then for one 3 ft mattress

Have seen this one below on eBay but seems really cheap... Is this because prices are reducing or has anyone here bought one and found it to be naff (or good) quality in regards to comfort?

Also if anyone has recommendations for any to check out,but can't really afford a Tempur even though they are the bee's knees

Looking to buy a superking 10 inch or 12 inch mattress with 3 inches of memory foam. We do not want the combo spring/foam mattress type.

Cheers

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. The memory foam if that's what you call it will be a nasty horrible V30 or V45 at most.

What most sites don't tell you is that memory comes in lots of different grades or densities. From very poor to very good, if a site doesn't state what grade it is then don't buy from them.

So your going from a £600 mattress to a £133 mattress and expect it to be good, sorry but not a chance. You'll need to spend more to get a half decent one.

Why 3 inches of memory foam? 2 inch of V60 would normally do the trick, much better then 3 inches of a cheaper memory foam.

Mine is all foam no springs at all (I bought it from Dreams & it was eye wateringly expensive) but I love it & I would never go back to a mattress with springs again.

Mine had a very squared off top - that's why I picked it over a tempure, it was a close run.
So if you do find one with a very squared off comfort top, I can recommend them.

    Thanks Pinkypants and Mrs E,

I will start looking for the V60 foam but I didn't expect the same quality for less money, just sometimes things get cheaper over time. But quarter price doesn't seem right anyway...

I did look in Dreams and a couple of other high st shops but was hoping to get one online for a bit less

Does anyone have any sites they can recommend for a decent quality memory foam mattress?

    Thanks

    I can recommend this site:

    http://www.memoryfoamwarehouse.co.uk/memory-foam-mattresses/super-king-size-memory-foam-mattresses/?mfw_mattress_type=37&mfw_memory_foam_thickness=211

I've bought from them twice now and they are excellent. Second time I used them was the other week when I ordered a memory foam mattress from them late afternoon on Friday 24th May and it arrived on Tuesday 28th May, despite it being a bank holiday weekend.
You had me at your proper use of "you're".

Thanks for the rec, I heard the triple layer mattresses were worth getting.

    Will call this company tomorrow.
