Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me, I have heard Green Grant Efficiency advertise on my local radio station Ambur radio 103.6 fm regarding free insulation of wall cavity and loft insulation.

I telephoned them and they said they will come out and assess my property. Has anyone used this company before?

Thanks in advance

:)

I thought all grants and subsidies had now ended (although I don't know the situation for those on benefits).

I believe the OP may be referring to the 'Green Deal'. Long thread here:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4430785

This is a scheme where, in theory, funds are provided(by means of a loan) for efficiency measures; and the subsequent savings on heating bills will pay off the loan.

It would appear that the current situation on the scheme is chaotic.

    Edit.
I would not pay for the assessment.
