Question? - Hedge and Copse Pack

I gave the Headteacher the good news today about winning the hedge and copse pack and she was thrilled!

I offered to register for her which I did, but it asked me to choose hedge or copse, even though my letter said I had won both.

Those of you who also won, my letter says "you have won a Woodland Trust hedge and copse pack for your local primary school", does your say this too or does it say something different?

I feel a bit bad if I have to go back and say I gave her the wrong information.

There is a number to call if there are any queries, so I might do that next week.

Ah, I don't know, just sent mine in with DD but yes that's what mine said too.

Ive just sent mine in with a neighbours child so dont know what they have made of it!

'you have won a popular Woodland Trust hedge and copse pack...'

same as yours.

I did phone to query and I got through to the PR company that are obviously dealing with the competition.

They said it was only one or the other and not both, but I quoted the letter saying hedge AND copse pack and they said that the letter was obviously misleading.

I also said it was not much of a competition when you can go to the Woodland Trust website and request a pack FREE without entering a competition. He said that other companies may be running similar things but this was a competition for SPAR.

He tried to convince me that these packs were large and you would only need one of them really, but it was still misleading in my opinion.

Shouldn't complain though as the school will be getting something.

Thanks 1972. Totally agree with you about being misleading etc but yes, shouldn't really complain. I wouldn't have even known about the packs if it wasn't for the competition and I don't think the school were aware that they could get them either. Thanks again.

I gave mine to the primary school my children used to go to as they have gone up to middle school now and I havn't heard anything back. Not so much as a thankyou letter or phonecall.
