    NationalPatriot, if you're new to adpoints, you get up to 250 points every week for about a month or two. Then after that it drops.

    I'm at 70 for the week.

  • Yes, I'm new to it. Thing is though, I had loads of ads even after I'd finished. Just checked and new ones are still popping up, perhaps I'm seen as the ideal spender?!

    A single 20 something homeowner isn't necessarily the ideal demographic. If you were married, with children, in your 20s, in a higher managerial profession AND earning more than £50,000 a year you'd have better demographics. I speak from experience ;)

    Also, with regards to Adpoints alundra is right about what she is saying, in a month or two you'll start to get less and less until you're earning under 100 like everyone else.

    If you look back through this thread you'll see I was confident I was going to get 250 a week too, it soon changes. I'm in the 25-34 target demographic with pretty much all the criteria that I mentioned above. I also know about the target demographics because I have a contact who works for a large survey company, one that features in the news heavily.

    Join, give them your nectar card number, points added automatically.

    Is how it worked when I joined.
    I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

    Same here, I emailed them and this was the response;

    Dear Nectar Adpoints Member,

    Many thanks for being an avid collector of Nectar Adpoints!

    We are sorry that there have not been as many Ads on the site to collect 250 points in each week. But please be aware that 250 is the absolute maximum that can ever be collected in a single week, not the usual amount you should expect. We simply cannot guarantee how many points that you can collect each week, as this is dependent on the number of advertisers we have at any given point.

    New Ads are coming onto Adpoints all the time. Some Ads will only offer a limited number of Views, and so will only be shown for a limited period. But also, these may return to your carousel again some days later, giving you the opportunity to View for additional points. Other Ads may offer points when you View them two, three of four times.

    The thing to do is to come and visit the site regularly and often and check your Carousel, as things are always changing! You will always be able to see how many points are available for you to collect from an Ad (a total of Views, questions and click thrus), from the +number in the top left of each thumbnail image. If your carousel is showing all thumbnails with +0, or there are no thumbnails visible at all, do please try back later, as more points-collecting opportunities are being posted all the time!

    Please remember that although 250 points is the maximum you can collect in any week, points are subject to availability - so the total you can actually collect in a week may be less than this.

    I had four points on Monday and three on Tuesday giving me the dizzy total of 7. It has never been this low in the past. Perhaps Nectar are slimming down their Rewards:eek:
