Nectar Adpoints Challenge

  • Heard a story not so long ago where someone had been saving up all their Sainsburys nectar points for Christmas, but then their card got pinched and all the money was spent. A nectar card has no security or anything, so if someone gets hold of it, they can spend any stored points.

I generally spend points in Sainsburys as soon as they reach the threshold. (You could then put the cash you've thereby saved into a piggy bank if you want to save up the adpoints for a special treat.)

But if you don't carry your nectar card about with you, I guess it should be safe enough.

The security is the same with any gift card etc, you can ask them to cancel it by ringing up with the number when it is stolen. You can also have two cards and have one of them set to disable redemption, that way you can carry one with you to earn points and leave the redemption one at home until it is to be used.

I think all points get added on a Monday. so maybe wait till Tues if they don't go on.
I am on 97 this week.I have been doing this for 6 months now and after the first few weeks of 250 points, I can only get between 75 and 140 per week now, despite logging on at least 3 times per day & often more.

    Yes same here.

Is anyone still doing this? I've been starting to try and get max points each week from now until Christmas to use towards my food shop. Wonder how long it will take until it loses all appeal...:rotfl:

I do it to save up for buying presents at Argos - they usually have some great 3 for 2 offers on toys in the Autumn. (You don't miss out on anything at Argos paying by nectar points).

I pay cash or card if I'm shopping at Sainsburys so that I can get nectar points (They're not awarded on purchases paid for with nectar points).

Does anyone else find that they don't get the 1 point for opening up a link? Just doesn't seem to be crediting for me...

I have not done it for a few weeks now.

I got fed up with watching nearly the whole way through and the video freezing just before the end.

Just like everyone else I got 250 for the first few weeks.

Now between 50 - 100 every week since.

I'm a nectar fanatic, so I still do these. If the video is one minute, the prompts come about every 25-30 seconds.
