Hi
I have been paying my Barclaycard of as an AP, i am now in a better position so I can come out of it. Is this likley to pose a problem?
Will they be happy for me to do so?
Will this also enable future marks to be seen as satisfactory rather than AP?
Anyone been in a similar situation?
Any advice appreciated.

I had an arrangement with First Direct. They were fine about changing. Unfortunately it is not on my credit report now so I cannot advise ref marks.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Hello - you can definitely come out of an AP with Barclaycard, although they will increase the interest rate back up to normal rates if you have been benefitting from a lower one while you have been in the arrangement - also consider whether you have any other creditors in an arrangement as they may be upset if you increase your payments to one creditor i.e. Barclaycard and not to them - all depends on your own circumstances of course, but the short answer is yes Bcard will be delighted to let you pay them more interest!0
