Hey Everyone :A
I am heavily addicted at comping already and i haven't won anything yet! :rotfl:
I have read the threads for newbies but i want individuals advice
How many Comps do you all apply for each day on average?
Do you think that no subscibing will affect you winning?
Do you just apply to the comps provided on this website or search for others?
I am currently applying for 200 a day started yesterday
Thanks All!

about 200 on an average day, more on a good day and sometimes as few as fifteen on a bad day.
Everyone has a different opinion on this but I do think the subscribing affects your chances but ticking it means another newsletter in ur email inbox, what I do is when I get the first newsletter I delete it and when I get the second I mark it as junk as by then the competition is usually over. good luck with your comping! xStarting afresh - comping as much as poss!
Hoping for: some beauty goods, clothes, amazon vouchers, anime, manga, wardrobe, fridge freezer, laptop, an ipad, vouchers for next, exercise goods, a uk break and a wee hol somewhere nice!
Wishing all a little luck:beer:0 -

If you keep up the 200 a day realistically you're looking at one win a week (maybe more) but this includes things like books, cds, dvds etc - or even a packet of cereal!! so we're not looking at one big win a week - - I enter around 300 a day and so far this year have had one big win - an xbox !!!
and I've never had a mahoosive win & have been comping for about 3 years now.proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -

Ditto to this!
I've been comping seriously for almost a year, although I used to THINK I entered lots of competitions prior to that for years, my idea of lots was about 20-50 a week lol. These days I'd say I do 100 standard comps a day, plus anything upwards of 200 dailies. I would say I average out at one win a week or perhaps a bit less but as hamsterfan says, this includes stuff like cereal, makeup, sweets, not really anything big. Plus it doesn't mean I'll win something every week, I can go a month or more with absolutely nothing. In a year, my two biggest wins are an iPad mini and a £250 voucher, so I too am still waiting on a really big one!!0 -
Personally, I think if you were meant to win you'll win. The first ever competition I entered was on Facebook and it was only because it flashed up that I thought what the heck and I entered my email. The next day got an email saying I'd won an all expenses trip to Chicago! The competition has been running for ages and must of had tens maybe hundreds of thousands of entrants. Was the best trip I have ever and most probably will ever have.
Since August last year, I have probably entered thousands since and barely won a thing so I think its just whether luck is on your side. Persevere though, you never know what might happen and the thought of winning is normally enough to keep us entering, much like the thought of winning the lottery....right? It'll happen when u least expect
Happy Comping!Comping Wins: 2012: All expenses NFL package trip to Chicago, Nurishment Smoothie Maker, 2013: Budweiser Bottle Opener, Cheese making experience, Lavazza Coffee Machine, £25 John Lewis Voucher, 2015: Gosset Champagne, Ideal Home Show tickets :beer:0 -
How many I enter depends on how many comps that day have things I want to win as some days there aren't alot of comps for things I'm interested in i.e. there are alot of comps for tickets to various things. However, I don't enter them because I'm a wheelchair user and alot of places don't have adequate wheelchair facilities. Same with holidays. On average, though, I'd say that I enter about 150-200 a day including the dailies.2019 Wins

I enter about 5-10 a day used to do more but seems to of stopped depends what kind of mood I'm in and if I can be bothered and what day it is ha ha.Used to do about 100 a day a few times a week don't think it's how many you do because I still seem to win things.I enter from different places aswell also from mse but not so much here. It takes a while about a month so the prizes you win this month would get next month so you might have won and not know it until it pops through letterbox thats if it's a prize draw prize.0

Okay thanks everyone! I have been quite lucky in the last year and also unlucky but will send all my luck out to all of you too!
And DannyC217 i totally agree with you there, i think if your meant to win, you will win!
I am quite a makeup and DVD person so could be some good perks, i don't expect a big win ever, i am not the luckiest of people but not going to get my hopes up! We can only dream of a big win, and it may just come one dayOne month off, here we go again!

Hi,
I entered just over 1000 last month (I keep count using an app on my Blackberry) and I only enter the things I actually want to win or know I could gift to someone else. I don't agree to any contact on the competitions and I've still won a few things, so I don't think it makes any difference.
I only use MSE because the people on here are great and I think all the comps are posted on here anyway.
Good luckThank you so much to everyone who posts competitions

I think this is theme tune for comping, it sometimes feels like it is all about the joy of repetition
