Tesco Beer Boo-boo !!

*** SEE MY POST FROM 22 JUNE FOR 8.6% LAGER UPDATE *** Tesco have an offer on selected big pack beers (Stella 284ml, Strongbow 440ml, John Smiths 440ml to name but a few) - 2 packs £16, 3 packs £20. In my local Tesco (Forres) I noticed the big promo sign stated the John Smiths pack was the 18 x 440ml size- however, I spotted that the 24 pack size was priced on the shelf as in the offer as well - hey presto, a box of 20 x 284ml Stella and 2 boxes of JS 24 x 440ml for 20 quid - if the wife was a JS drinker I could have had 72 of the little beauties!! But hurry - offer on only until 29th May !!! CHEERS !!:money:

Surprise surprise those Tesco rotters replaced the 24 packs with 18's today, after having a gap on the shelf for 2 days !! But there is ANOTHR boo-boo -for those that like the super strength lager, my local store is selling their (8.6%) version at 62p a can - NOT A SPECIAL, because the shelf label is white, not yellow - buy while you can folks- but drink sensibly lol

*** QUICK UPDATE RE. 8.6% LAGER - Seems to be a long-term offer, large white price notice in front of the display in my local store, and what makes it even more bizarre is that the 5% version, just along the shelf, is selling for 70p a can - work that one out !!!! ***
