My hubby earns arounf £6k in overtime on his duty at work & £7k a year on his 2nd job anyone know if nationwide will take the whole amount into account when working out how much we can borrow or will they half it like santander did?>

Obviously this will depend on the lender's own criteria. A good rule of thumb is that if this is guaranteed overtime (and you can get the company to write a letter to that extent) then they'll consider 100% of it. If it's not guaranteed, they'll likely consider 50% of it.
The money from the second job should count for 100% though, assuming it's a standard guaranteed salary.0
