I received a verbal warning at work (unprofessional conduct - shouted at my boss...:( )and during the interview was told that anything said was strictly confidential and should not be discussed with anyone outside of the room.
Does this mean just with work colleagues? Or am I not allowed to talk it over with friends and family too?

Who was in the room? That's your first clue.
If you do discuss it outside of work, what are the chances of it getting back to your boss?
Whatever you do, keep it off facebook, twitter etc ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
