Hiya, not really sure if this is the right place but i am sure you lovely people will be able to help
Im just organising a buffet for my dd 1st birthday, nothing fancy but i want to make everything (or the majority) myself rather than purchase ready made 'party food' but im looking at doing some cocktail sausages and can only find the pre fozen big bags, that even i may be a bit iffy at eating.
Does anyone have any ideas of an alternative or do you think it would be ok to cut up larger sausages and serve those? I wanted to do half wrapped in bacon and half on their own and didnt know if they would look silly?!
TIA

Hi , I'm not sure if its what your after but I got some frozen (raw) cook yourself cocktail sausages from farm foods for my DS christening. They were surprisingly tasty , wasn't expecting too much for £1.50 for 75 I think.0

Morrisons sell them in chilled packs (pre-cooked) in boxes of 50 (I think) you can either serve them cold or heat them through.
They are near the sausage rolls/quiches etcDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

At Christmas my family/myself have always just cut up large sausages and wrapped them in bacon, as you can buy both cheaper and get more from them. We don't have a Farmfoods or anything near us to compare though. I don't think it looks weird at all - I love them!0

If that fails ill use my usual sausages cut into smaller pieces0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule ) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies.
