Urgently Needed, Copy of Jones Sewing Machine Model: 670 Foreign, Instruction Manual?

Recently purchased The Jones 670 Foreign Sewing Machine and after a bit of revamping and getting it stitch perfect, set about looking for an Instruction Manual......but the machine is not listed anywhere, never mind trying to find the manual!

I sew quite a bit- as my hubby is a paraplegic, and usually has many things which have to be altered or adapted for his use....e.g. wheelchair upholstery, clothes and presently a tent and inner pods.

Although I am quite experienced, the need of a machine manual is still very important.

If there is anyone out there who has a Jones 670 Foreign Instruction Manual.....I would be most grateful for a pdf or any form of copy......

Have googled etc and done research and it is nowhere to be had unless someone just happens to be selling same machine with manual....have asked if they wuld be so kind as to share a copy but it was a flat n:silenced: unfrtunately.

I did a bit of research here and found Jones was bought by Brother in the 1980s. You could try contacting them to try to get a copy of the manual. Alternately if you keep looking for people selling the same machine you could try offering them a cash incentive to photocopy the manual or to scan it and send you a PDF. You could also try putting a request on Freecycle or in the small ads (local paper, AdTrader, Gumtree, FridayAds, Exchange and Mart,) someone may have a broken machine.

Thanks so much for your suggestion but have already been down that route to no avail as Brother bought the premises only, and not the original Jones business. I have approached many people who have also been selling the machine with manuals with cash incentive, but also no joy there, probably because they may think I am a dealer as many sell the manuals online. Unfortunately the manual for my machine is nowhere to be had on line for sale as a download copy or otherwise.
Hopefully someone on here will read this and take pity lol....:D

If all else fails, could you buy the machine and manual from them, copy the manual, and sell the machine on with the manual?

yes I have seen these and the machines are not similar to what I have ...unfortunately.

To be honest, sadly I could not afford to fork out more monies for another machine with manual.....wish I could as would have done it and resold on as suggested.

Could you post a picture? I may be able to find something helpful, though it probably wouldn't be for the exact model, but one very similar. Multiple Jones user here - my two main machines are a Medium CS treadle, and a 565 (Foreign) also on a treadle.
