My Wife worked part time for a number of years and has the following in that pension - Fund Value today of 7277.31, projected fund of 12700.
She now works for the council and has been told she would benefit to the sum of 2 years and 2says transfer credit if she transferred
She is 42 now - which is the better of the two options would you say?

Probably best to transfer the projected sum would generate only say £400 per year as an annuity and you could squeeze a bit more in drawdown, maybe £600.
Compare this with what the council pension will pay out for the accrued years, you need to say what she earns and the accrual rate.0
