Halifax Full Application

Hi all, new to the forums...
I'm currently waiting to hear from the Halifax on my full application, on a 95% LTV New Build... Full application was submitted just over 3 weeks ago, bank stats, P60's and pay slips were sent over to the Halifax a week ago via our Financial Advisor, whom constantly advises me 'in the world of Buying, no news is good news'... It seems like a hell of a long time? However compleition on our Apartment is December. Again as most of the guys on here seem to repeat, I'm a worrier! Keeping, fingers, toes, legs and arms crossed! Thanks.

I thought the highest halifax LTV was 90%?''Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure that you are not, in fact, just surrounded by a$$holes.'' :whistle:0

I'd get your broker to chase it .. Peace of mind .. Sure you'll hear something back this week0

There's a NewBuy scheme on most New Build homes/apartments, Halifax are one of the lenders whom are willing to deliver a 95% Mortgage!0

Our valuation was carried out last Thursday and we got mortgage offer yesterday which is quick given the bank holiday. Good luck:)0

A 75% mortgage needs a lot less underwriting than a 95% one, so a lower LTV can mean a speedier offer.
But I see the OP's offer is now received, so it's all good!Early retired - 18th December 2014
