I live with my landlady - did it with another prior to this. Prior to that I was renting with a friend..bills etc were too much hassle. Whilst penny pinching to pay back my loan I need to know EXACTLY where everything is going to the last penny - hence an "all inclusive" property is the way forward..
Get out of London Town - come to the suburbs..
Live with partner. Flat/house shares are always cheaper but it kinds of ruins a longer term relationship
I presume a 1bed flat in your area wouldn't go for £450 though?0 -

unlikly to get a 1bed flat for £450 without going out of the london zones completely, then the transport costs wouldn't be worth it
im in zone 6 and pay £700, but most around the area were asking for £800
you could perhaps knock off another £100 in a less than desirable area0 -
You might want to consider looking at the outskirts of London Tube eg Chesham.
I have a one bed flat and it is fine space wise but then again I'm just me.
Failing all that look at Zoopla it has plenty of properties cheaper than £1200 a month.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
