Hi everyone.
I have recently been offered a part time job which states a minimum of 10 hours a week, although research tells me some weeks I may not work any hours.
I will still sign on and declare how many hours I've worked but what I'm wondering is, if say next week I have worked 10 hours, I won't be paid until 60 days later, so will my JSA for next week be taken off me, or will it be the week I get paid?
If say, next week's is taken off me, I will really, really struggle
Many thanks

I don't speak from recent experience but if you are on income based benefits it always used to be that the benefits were reduced in the week that the money was received as long as it was under 16 hours.
If you call your benefit delivery centre for advice they can tell you for definite. Don't ask the staff in the Jobcentre, they are not generally benefit trained."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0
