Hi all,
Sorry to put up a seperate post if there is one on the chat page (Cannot find it, don't know if blind from staring at this website all day or whether it's the pregnancy head.
I have signed up for mystery shopper jobs and just want to know what I should put in my ''cash'' book for every job.
I have 2 tomorrow. Help and advice needed they are my first ones.....

There was quite a bit of info on the mystery shopping thread.
But, yes..your gross income is what you get from the company..less any expenses that are not re-imbursed from the company....such as car parking.
Also if you print off the briefs, then depending upon how many jobs you do, you can claim part of your ink and paper expenses.
Contact your tax office to register as self employed..if your earnings are below a certain amount (not sure how much, but a few thousand) then you register as being exempt from Class 4 NIC.
You may want to post a question on the income tax board, as I am sure there are some tax office folk on there.
