Guys just a quick question, I've signed up and been accepted to Market Force, like most websites it's a bit confusing as it's unfamiliar right now, but I have a couple of questions;
1) Is it worth it
2) How many assignments do you do in a week/month ?
3) How much have you been able to make from doing it?
Thanks!

Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.

It depends what you want out of it!
Both myself and my daughter have an account and the work varies immensely based on location. I'm lucky to get a few jobs a week but where she lived there was hundreds
I enjoy doing it and use it as an 'extra' EG it gets me a nice meal out for free or maybe I'll pick up a job that will cover the petrol costs of where I was going anyway.
I don't think you can get rich on it

I was a Mystery Shopper for this company for a few years until recently. You won't make much money on it but its good for having meals out etc. I tended to stick to restaurant/pub assignments but the assignment fee barely covers the cost of one meal...If you take someone with you you will pay full price for that. I always thought of it as a subsidised meal out rather than actually earning anything.
Don't take anything on that involves paying for parking or lots of mileage, you will end up out of pocket.
I was a bit disappointed with them though when they cancelled my registration after I couldn't make a couple of assignments after a death in my family, tried explaining the circumstances but they didn't even respond to my email...very rude I thought !0 -
I agree, you'll never make a fortune but I use it as a way to get discounted/miney neutral treats I.e. a meal out for myself and partner for a fraction of the normal cost. Or shops I would spend money in anyway, means my overall bill is lower.0

Hi, I've also just joined Market Force. I was wondering, do you need to register as self employed? I know you do with some mystery shopping companies, but I was just hoping to just do a little bit here and there, not really make any money out of it. Thank you.0

You will need to pay tax, unless you are under the tax threshold for the year. There is a whole thread about mystery shopping on the up your income board.Christmas 2020 £109
