    This isn't meant to be having go or anything, but is there really any point in people speculating on the application?
    There's so many variables at play and ultimately if someone here said "yes it will be approved", it may well not be, and vice versa.

    Waiting things out isn't nice but you risk winding yourself up further by getting third parties opinions which ultimately have no bearing or impact.

    Barclays will employ a 3rd perform party to perform the valuation. So this is merely a reimbursement of costs incurred.

    LTV means nothing. What matters is the affordability of the remaining 60%. A good deposit will allow the lender to offer a lower interest rate that's all.
