Hi. I am a newbie to comping. Been doing it last 3 months and haven't had a stroke of luck. I'm not on fb or twitter so don't enter their comps. I am spending 1-2 hrs a day comping, am i being impatient? Any tips? Wondering if it's worth it.... Love reading the wins section. Hopefully i will be there soon.

Thanks sparklyshoe patience is a virtue. I am very lucky in some ways that others arn't. I should b grateful. Beautiful healthy childrens. But lucky, ah ah. Never won anything. Good luck is on the cards.
Any tips welcomed.

About how many do you enter per day? I tend to find that as a general rule, the more you enter the more you win, and if you enter for smaller prizes along with the big ones you're much more likely to win something.
As others have said, patience is the biggest thing in this game. Good luck!

Hi
When I started I got quite a nice win early on and it spurred me to enter loads - maybe 200 a day! And it paid off I was getting a win almost every week. Some really random things like a Onesie and Spam flip-flops but the occasional nice win (£100 crossword, theatre tickets).
But life gets in the way sometimes (new job, health, etc) so comping took a back seat. I've been entering less now and mostly high value prizes and and, no surprise, I've hardly won anything.
The trick is to enjoy entering, dream of the possible wins and get excited by the postman knocking or a missed call from an unknown number.
Its amazing how a small win can brighten your day though - I won a box of cereal and a sausage roll the other day - 2 wins in one day? delighted! :rotfl:0 -
Don't worry, keep on comping and the wins will come.
I always find that, when I reach the stage that I think I'm never going to win anything ever again and that it's a complete waste of time etc., something good comes along.
Come to think of it, I'm hitting this "wall" about now.
So, expect to see me in the IWIW section soon!. :j
Best of luck.

On average I win for about every thousand I enter, so not masses, but have had some nice wins - part of doing this is the dream - what you would do with each prize - if you get it then its a massive bonus - good luck - hope you get your first win soon.
Also bear in mind the end dates, many of the ones you've entered may have only just passed their end dates x0 -
Keep the faith. I thought I had zero chance when I started but then then started getting little wins and a couple of amazing big wins. Biggest to date was one I never ever thought I would win in the Mirror Newspaper, was a hotel stay and vip trip to watch United players train etc... Never in a million years did I think I would be lucky enough to win that but it happens!
I'm not so confidant about the Twitter ones though. The amount of times it's supposed to be a random draw but the same people tend to win, which tend to also be the same people who constantly retweet the same thing, kiss the a** of the person running the comp or constantly harp on about their hardships in life... It pretty much feels like it kills your chances.0
