    No I doubt it.

    You could always use SyncToy to make sure they're constantly sync'ed.. or get something like Netgear NAS which takes 2 SATA drives which can be raided

    If you have an OS that allows for software RAID, there's no reason that shouldn't work. I've seen USB floppy drives be used for software RAID on Mac OS X, and Linux shouldn't care how the drive is connected so long as it can read it.
  • Don't forget Maplin are still doing the 320gb Freeagent for £59.99 - and you can pick one up from a store like I did an hour ago, or if not local delivered free and you can get 3% from Quidco. Ok smaller capacity, but good quality drive and after formatting you are only really talking about 60-70gb difference so I am told. (320gb drives use the space more efficiently than 500gb capacity so less wasted capacity).

    Staples also do an Iomega 320gb drive in silver for £54.95, but read some poor reports on Iomega drives so gave that a miss.
