My OH has lost her O level certificates taken in 1978. 30 years on someone needs to see them to verify she can take a teaching course. Anyone ever got replacements?
If so how do you go about it please?

I think you have to contact the examining board who set the exams originally? I lost mine a while back, I contacted my old school and they were able to tell me which board I had to contact and the address.:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

Yeah contact your old school, they should be able to advise you of the examining board who set the exams at the time. Costs quite a bit to get new ones via the exam board tho'. I recently had to apply for mine and it cost me well over £100.0

If you contact AQA in Manchester. Thinkh the address is Devas St, Manchester (wil dig the phone number out later) they will be able to help you.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

I enquired about my certificates and was told to write to the school where I took the exams with my full name (as it was at school), dob and year of leaving and they would be able to provide a transcript of my exams taken with grades.
This was sufficient as I believe replacement certificates are either not available or rather costly due to the change in Exam Board Regulators.
