    Yes I did :D

And I had one of those long flat radio cassette players with the microphone and used to tape the top40, fingers poised on the pause button to try and cut out as much yabbling on as possible :rotfl:

Yes, yes and yes. I got my first Radio cassette recorder on the Christmas that Human League ' Dont you want me' was No 1 :D:rotfl::rotfl:

Ok, so how many of us used to do this in the eighties? From memory the top 40 was every Sunday afternoon on radio 1 and I sat there poised ready to record all the songs I liked. The key was obviously to avoid all the chat and just record the music. I even had a notebook (made of paper, not a computer) where I wrote down the top 40 every week!:rotfl:

How times change though. Now, I don't own a cassette player, a dvd player or a bluray player. Everything I want I download from t'internet and either watch it on my pc or via a media player.

I remember doing that in the 90's as well!
