Vanilla bean fragrance in green packaging scanning at 2p in asda
Morning mad squad,
I got some of these several weeks ago when it was first reported on HUKD iirc. There are two different bar codes so watch out. In one store it needed approval, fortunately the girl was busy and just approved it without checking what it was for. In another store it came up item not found and in another store they went through at 2p no problem. I can't check the barcode till I get home but it might have been 7734?
HTHI do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.
I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.0 -
Well, today is definately off to a cracking start :T
Quick cuppa next door then I headed to Mr T in the next town on a nappy hunt. Couldn't decide if it was tempting fate to get a trolley but was glad I did. They had a whole display on the end of the aisle. Boxes and packets of nappies and pull ups :j My nappy mountain is now pretty massiveBoth boys should be sorted for several months (DS1 dry in the day but not at night yet) Did my good deed for the day and told a lady who'd picked up one of the new size full price packs to look at the end. She got almost twice as many nappies for the same price
To top things off I lost 5lbs this week  :j:j:j I'd been a bit disappointed with my weight loss so far as I'd been really good and had been hoping it'd come off nicely after I stopped the steroids. After I saw the Dr last week though I stopped my pill as no need for it any more. It must have been making me retain fluid. Expect it'll be a one off but it's given me a boost
Well done Logie on the weight loss :jand also getting the nappies you really are getting back in the swing of things :T0 -
Today has to be my most mse day ever.
I had a £2,044 early redemption figure on my mortgage and had been trying to get it waved- well today they have told me they will:T
It just goes to show if you don't ask you don't get:cool:
Before going on this site I would never of asked:( but now:beer:
More carp that mrsnerf can buy for the new house:eek:0 -
Morning all :hello:
Sorry not about much, things seem to be getting on top of me at the mo.
Grrrr am so mad this morning, got a double trouting at Ts and a mouthful off some mouthy girls
Popped up to Ts to grab some pampers and filled the buggy (I don't drive so grabbed as much as I could carry) and paid at the till. The Trout had none of the stickers so was waiting to get some for her till so I had to wait for her to get some (not a problem) but she only handed me 1 (my shopping was just over £40 before MOCs) I said I should get 2 and she said the stickers are given after all discounts (I used HH MOC) but she huffed and gave me another anyway (I always thought it was based on how much your shopping comes to after multibuy discounts as MOCs count as payment?).
Piled my buggy high and walked home and near my house had to walk around these 2 girls who'd stopped either side of the path and as I walked past they were walking along behind me shouting 'thankyou' and 'manners cost nothing'...etc... - The reason I didn't say thankyou was because they didn't move and I had to walk around them! Cheeky so and so's!
I dropped my nappies off and grabbed my Pampers MOCs I'd forgotten the first time (at this point my mood was still pretty good) went back to Ts and filled my buggy again.
Went to the till and handed over my MOCs and paid for the nappies, after I got my receipt I noticed only one MOC had been applied so me and SA figured we couldn't work out which of the 2 it was (different barcodes but both for £1) so I said as they had my name on them I'd take them CSD so he marked the MOCs so they couldn't be reused (not a problem) and I popped to CSD.
Trout there was having none of it, she told me there was nothing they could do and there was no team leader or manager in that day. When I asked for the store manager she grumbled and said she'd 'give me the benefit of the doubt this time' (  !!) and handed me a quid and that was it, I had to lean over to retrieve my own receipts!!
I'm so livid! I left the store really upsetThe SA at the till was lovely and I wasn't trying to scam them, the MOCs had my name on them and I told her that.
I feel a complaint coming on :rotfl:
Anyway enough of me ranting, I really must try to catch up, gonna drown my sorrows with a free bottle of sprite  and fathom out how my complaint is going to go.
Back later after I've found room for all these nappiesHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Thats horribleIve spent 6 weeks complaining about the trouting I got using parioli coupons. rang, emailed and facebooked. They confirmed that they should have accepted them. In the end the store manager just said it was down to 'managers discretion at the end of the day' and hung up.

When I said forget about facebook I meant complaining to them rose.
We have laws in this country that I am sure they will be breaking and at the end of the day just like AE a new one appears straight away
At the end of the day its wrong especially the 7 year old bit
No I realised what you meant I meant they dont take much notice of reports. off to police now0 -

OH had a little bit of good news yesterday. His current employer ranked him as 0 qualified on his redundancy notice but we checked with his professional body and he actually has a level 6 qualification - equivalent to a degree. And if he passes exam from last month and next one in November he'll be level 7. So when he meets with boss tomorrow he can have something to fight back with.:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0

I don't expect a complaint to get anywhere but it'll make me feel a whole lot better doing it
Trouts usually don't faze me but this one's a super trout, one of the people in front of me was chasing up a missing offer at the till and she just told them they'd bought the wrong one and could just have a refund if they wanted (no smile, no nothing). Poor polite customer looked flustered and just said she'd keep what she had and thanked her and left.
As was pointed out to me earlier by those mouthy girls, manners cost nothing :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
