Just a quick update. had another driving lesson earlier and felt much more in control of the car, if that makes sense..tackled some roundabouts lol, hope everyone is well, going for a catch up x
Well done with your driving.
I needed a really strict driving instructor to get me to improve, my first love him was too nice and I would just refuse to do certain things and drive really slowly. My last instructor would shout at me lol  but it worked0 -

Just wanted to share something/get if off my chest.
When mum was in hospice in the opposite bed, there was another lady with an only daughter too, much younger than my mum. We got to know each other very well over the 6 weeks she was there, looking after each other mums when either one of us was not there.
This lady was moved back to the main hospital for treatment after a second opinion and then went back home for a while and we kept in contact. Sadly just before my mum passed away she returned to hospital and eventually the hospice and passed away couple weeks ago.
I went to the funeral this morning and her daughter read exactly the same piece that I read at my mum's funeral that I found in my mum's safe, total coincidence. Such sad circumstances to have met in but such lovely people to have shared part of my life with, we are going to keep in touch. :A
Lovely TS. Just before my Mum died, a new person came to stay at the same place. When his family were visiting, I 'knew' that I knew the daughter from school. She was gobsmacked when I said Hi, you are Susan ******* aren't you? I took in a photo of our primary year school photo the following day. Her Dad laid in bed pointing out and naming all of the children and teachers. He said and look, there's our Susan and there's you ****, never thought that I'd see that again. Not bad for someone who had Alzheimer's, his wife was in bits as he seemed so 'normal' (for want of a better word) for just a while.
Watching Queen on TV and looking forward to seeing Bruce Springsteen on Saturday. :T:T:T Eat your heart out Mrs Jagger! Seriously though, haven't seen her posting for ages.0 -

***Sorry - better indicate I disagree with the above at the beginning, so you don't miss it, all in detail, below!!***
Good evening:wave: and goodbye:hello: again!:rotfl:
Seems there's not as much to catch up on (not the great amount of pages there sometimes is) as it's still nice weather for some:) and not many glitches seem to be happening:(.
I know fairclaire won't be too put out with me when I completely disagree with the post quoted:eek:. It's all done with the aim of ensuring T doesn't r*p everyone off, which in my view it will do if you buy any of the above items even if you're comparing to A's prices!!:D:D
I'm getting a bit ahead of myself tonight too, as I've got the list I'm checking in Ms on Wednesday already prepared - it's normally done all of a rush on Tuesday evenings!:o:rotfl:
There goes Savvy bunny again incessantly about M although perhaps this time Patty won't mind as she'll be in Amsterdam. Hope you have a great weekend Patty!!:):) And sorry Raven!
As for the above on Tvs A... (unless you're in NI and there's no better option - but even there wait for T to reduce its prices first and then compare for 10% cheaper by buying in A).
The Bacon is Avs M in 2s (£1.80 each rather than Tvs A £2.00). BE Potato Waffles - too expensive (at £1, leave alone £1.99:eek::eek:!!). Own brands on those - and far more for your money, think (nay, know) it's Avs T 12 per pack six hundred and eighty gram weight A £1.00 T 90p therefore 81p net. 456g eat your heart out - or rather don't eat very much at all:rotfl: - and lose 19p money. (Ok, did have to use MSM for reference for the actual prices.)
Unless you've Bird's Eye coupons or anything else making it much better, I wouldn't go for it.
Warburton's Bread at £1?? One word: whoopsies.
Five thousand more words (from Savvy:D):rotfl:- I was almost tempted by some Warburtons Bread (400g though) on my last Sains BM vs Tosco comparison. Saw some on whoops at 10p but thought the better of it and settled for some S own brand at 10p instead. Turned out to be right as T's regular price (and S's and others too) on the Warburtons 400g - not even twice as much - is 80p:eek::eek:. That's about twice the amount I'd be willing to pay for a loaf twice as much. As for 400g, 20p my maximum!:rotfl::rotfl:
You may quail at own brands etc. but in reality frozen then defrosted bread - of the same brands, not the own brands - is perfectly fine and really I can't tell the difference. Perhaps a bit like the Aldi Colas at 42p for 2L (a fraction of the non-glitch Coca Cola price - about which, but regarding the 1.5L rather than 2L, more later below!).
Ginster's Cornish Pasty T vs A's £1.00? No. Or at least not any more - I did used to pay vs A at £1, but having seen lower prices on it and compared from A (whether A is £1 or is £1.44 makes no odds) vs T when they were at £1 and therefore making it 90p via the APG, I'm not going for it. Also I think Ginster's is way too expensive - looking at the own brands on the same shelving and they can be less than half the price (per 100g)! I've concluded, for instance, paying £2 (or comparing vs £2) on 4 pack Ginsters pies is too much. So that won't make the lists anymore.
On this Ginster's 'Large' Cornish Pasty (albeit that 227g doesn't seem to me to be as large as it may have been before), there may have been some TCB recently but probably ended now??? - I'm pretty sure somewhere has been on offer recently and/or that T may have increased its price. It shows Ocado 92p on MSM - Ocado isn't compared against from either A or T - so perhaps buy from Ocado directly? W is showing N/A on MSM, but I'm pretty sure they have had it at 92p as well recently....
...And there it is! Signed in on MSM and suddenly W appears, 92p until 18/6/13, so Avs W for outside NI (10% off 92p making it about 83p). 83p for such a small "Large" Cornish pasty it now seems to me!
As for the Cokes, well Avs M on those as well recently - Coke Zero 1.5L about 82p/85p in M??? Can't remember - couple of weeks back now! As for regular 1.5L - think they were £1 in M two weeks ago - therefore would have been Avs M for 90p. So getting T to charge you £1 a bottle on each (or even on one) is too much to me!! Please do not do it. That's unless you can get a Coke Zero 1.5L and nothing more for 10p from T, but it seems no-one has yet actually managed to find any at that price. My advice: stick to the Aldi version, 500ml more, and for only 42p. I can't see expensive Coca Cola is moneysaving at all in any way:rotfl::rotfl:, given the amount of 2L Coke glitches on the APG I've no idea why anyone (in the know, i.e. who reads this thread) would ever get any unless they were glitching.0
