    Hi - good afternoon!!:):) It's the weekend!!:j:j:j

Firstly, to Northern Ireland: I know, regarding money-saving related things from me lately, I've gone on almost incessantly in relation to Morries. I am very hopefully going to look at Avs T and S, Svs T and A, and Tvs A (and possibly S but not sure what I've got on that) in the non-too-distant future. Tastiers for S (and possibly T) vs A include the Heinz Beanz and Spaghetti Hoops fridge packs (check MSM for precise versions) - looks like the McVities Jamaican Cake is OOS in A now but was it avail. this morning - may have been picked up by Sains BM earlier today and thus still be showing 50p?

Secondly, to everyone else (and then I'll be back to everyone): my M list is still missing:mad: - I will keep looking; but you can treat my lists as 'completed'. I'll look at to see if there's any N/As coming back and put that info. or if anyone PMs me about any other N/As. I've fallen back on my memory and I don't think they'll be much else - I think the main ones are probably some other versions of Canti and Ernst & Gallo wines that are the same price as the ones already on there but can't recall the exact varieties sorry. I have picked up M's Lightly Spiced Wedges (750g) at £1 on Wednesday but there isn't anything comparable from A, that's been ruled out. Other than that, has anyone bought (or got on a womble) the Robinson's Fruit Shoot Lollies - they are £1.25 each in Ms - are they comparing correctly on the APG? I'm about to add them onto my list, to go with Nestle cones if they are safe.

Thirdly - and for everyone (?) - come back via A this afternoon and not many receipts around unfortunately - but did pick up one wimble-womble. You are about to find out - almost same time as me - what sort of things are on it. Not looked at it yet, just getting it from my pocket, will it have 8 items etc?, unfurling it... and
ooooohhh... it's got two £12 Carling and two £8 Bulmers (but are the Carling the ones that ruined it for me last time(?)) - and, one, two, three, four, five other items, mostly lots of different ice creams :T at £1 each (perhaps not so brilliant), reduced pies:( - may not count - three other different items - they like to cut it fine don't they???:rotfl::D But the Fridge Raiders are 50p, so is the Garlic Bread (x2!) and Egg Lasagne x2:(:( - hoping for non-comparable or for 50p elsewhere.

Checking it ....:( I've got to wait another two hours before it can go in.. later folks!:)

[Edit: No multis on receipt, so no info. there from this one.]

    Debt-free and Proud!
Thank goodness its the weekend, and I'm about to finish work... its been a bit of a week...

DD1 went for a job on Monday and was offered it on the spot, 6k more than she gets now. Handed in her notice next morning and current boss offered to match it, and throw in a no bills flat so she will have no travelling expenses (currently she's back at mine cos of debt). So negotiations ongoing but looks good.

DD2's job is at risk, 6 people going for 4 jobs, they were told Wednesday, her partner has only just got a job after losing job at christmas so this is a blow. She's remaining hopeful tho.

Today, OH got an invite to see his new boss. Thought it was to do with the info she'd asked him for this morning and he'd sent over..... to be given a "your job is at risk" letter. 2 posts going, his and another, and roles being amalgamated. Letter stated there are two people in the pool of candidates and you are the 2nd choice :eek::eek: Way to make someone feel valued!! he has a meeting next Wednesday. We spent half an hour going through the new job description, and its 12 points his job, and 3 the other persons! But other person came with the new boss to the firm .....

So i've got a feeling this weekend is not going to be all singing and laughing... (OH is 54 and has been made redundant 4 times before... he loves this job and is devastated after 7 years there).

Sorry to rant. All in all, i've not been to a shop all week except for milk, not had time.
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:
