Afternoon all. The sun is out again. Wooohooo.

Thanks to the gorgeous young lady that told me to check Morribobs for the A2 milk, managed to get 1 today.

Also, if anyone has a Clover voucher, Morribobs have it on offer, buy one get one free for £2, so you only pay £1 once you have handed the voucher over. So it works out at 50p per tub.

Oh and I checked with Fulton Foods and Heron Foods, they don't accept coupons or vouchers.

Finally, Mr Shoes has an offer on his Bonjoir products (well a selection of 10 products), buy 2 for £8 and get a free sachet sample of something and also a free gift of Bonjoir Easy Nail Kit. Quite a special offer if you use these products anyway.

Aren't you supposed to sign the back as soon as you get it?
I don think it matter if you sign, just need proof, as this story says:

I found a lottery ticket once, didnt hand it in, didnt win on it either. Just imagine if u win the full jackpot, what a pickle. Legally it's not yours but I'd cross that bridge if and when you get there, good luck xx

    Hi peeps!
Going back to my previous post re. types of posts on this forum, I was stung as my first post was trying to be helpful to others and posting money saving offers which I had used and found to be helpful and I was thanked by others for this.
The immediate reply under my post was from a guy who shall be nameless, let's just say his name was D....D with the remark "skinflint" and then spellchecker needed.
Well D....D if that was meant for me, firstly there is nothing whatsoever wrong with my spelling and I never have to use a spellchecker and secondly, if I am a "skinflint" for using money off or freebies, well then we are all guilty of this on this site!

"skinflint" was directed at someone else. I thought it was clear given he had quoted someone and made bold the text he was zero-ing in on

"Spellchecker needed" is in reference to his own spelling and that if he makes a mistake he doesn't need/want correcting by anyone

In summary, you've taken offence where there was none.

Hi cupcake, I do not often get involved with these "issues" but I must make a comment here, DD may have made the comment skinflint but if , and I doubt it was, directed at you it would of been meant in a joke way hence the smileys(:D) DD is one of the crew who will pull your leg til it falls off but there is absoloutly no malice or badness involved EVER.:)

davids post was quite clearly in jest and he quoted the person he was referring to in his post. also the ''spell checker needed'' has been in his signature for months.
we quite often have a little banter between posters on the late shift. there is no malice its just a bit of fun. you will get used to our ways. there is also many thoughtful posts by the same posters and we really do try to help each other as well as money saving. so for now don't take things to heart.:)

Wow a bargain a bargain and very Mse you would pay that for a cut and blowdry down our part of the country.

Am very exited:T I have just had a phone call and am having someone come along on Monday to give me a quote for Plantation shutters at the front of the house something I have wanted to do for a long time after seeing how great they look in my D si's house .I am going through a Friends Son so feel more comfortable about not getting ripped of which sometimes happens when you are widowed and will not feel under any pressure.
DD has just rung to say she needs some of the mint from my garden for the Pimms we are having later:j

If DD is still on her eating plan, ask her to try the following and compare the two. If she/you try it, please let me know the result. It is courtesy of my DD's friend as being pregnant, DD won't drink anything alcoholic.

Pimm's try putting about 1tsp balsamic into 1/2 pint lemonade (sounds odd but tastes great). Add fruit/cucmber/mint pretend it's the real thing!

Yes my son organised flowers for my birthday as well - very sweet if him and they did last 4 weeks but even so if he'd gone to the garden centre and got a gift card so I could have chosen seeds and bulbs myself that would have been nicer.

I think I am going to put my foot down at the end of the year and tell all of my gang not to get me Christmas and birthday presents - I'd much rather they would all send me an email or a photo or ring me up for a chat every so often.

It's a nightmare in our house between DEcember and March - 6 birthdays, Christmas, New Year, Mothers DAy, Easter etc

patty I would love to see Michael too. My dh is in bad books - bought me flowers for my birthday yesterday - probably the most expensive he could see in the florist ! - not very mse - and ---- no card, no present and no cake :o I would have been happy with a hand made card signed by the kids :(
