I agree nerfdad. My grammar is pants since suffering a stroke at the age of 34. It takes me quite a while to find the words to post on this site, let alone worrying about my grammar and spelling:rotfl:
I get frustrated because I used to have excellent grammar, spelling writing skills etc.
I can have a laugh about it because I know most of the time people are only joking or teasing, but others may get offended.
I never had excellent grammar, spelling or writing skills:o
All my family have pants hand writing:o
In the few days I've been on the iPad I now know how bad by spelling is:eek::o it corrects a lot of my errors.0 -

Shouldn't it be "what you wrote" or "what you've written"?
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
No offence meant:o:o
Thanks for that, Smart1e. I always get mixed up with the simple past tense and the past participle. Another thing I'm always troubled with is passive voice; it took me years to remove it all from my thesis!
Someone pass me the sackcloth please.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Anyone know ?? Thanks guys. :beer:0 -
I know all this grammar stuff is light hearted but please remember not everyone's grammar is as good as they would want.One of the main reasons I had never posted anywhere like this before was due to my grammar but now I don't care also the iPad is helping me;)
I will answer back but please remember some will take a comment to heart.Im not having a go but just letting you know how some might feel.
Thank you ever so much - I knew someone would inadvertently make my point without me having to do it!
We are all different. We all have different levels. Just like you shouldn't be pulled up for your spelling and grammar, SB shouldn't have been pulled up for his personal self confidence / lack of empathy, call-it-what-you-will.
Oh, but he did! Isn't that strange? See Dr V's rule of motion earlier!I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
