I always expect it to be the other way round! I never spend over £1 on branded bolognese sauces let alone own brands! (Tight git:o)

i must me an even tighter git as i wont buy jar sauces as cost to much i get pasata tin toms and add spices and onion and what ever lol:rotfl:

Got my first DTD for a long long time tonight, on a mistake however and not planned or contrived.
Bought some reduced oven potatos, they were £1.75 reduced to 55p, handy for the freezer methinks, first one went through full price, second one as well.
At the CS the lady was lovely, DTD worked out on the receipt before I could take a second breath.
It seems that the yellow sticker had only been put on the front, not over the barcode at the back, and of course I had scanned the back.
Certainly worth looking out for in future folks. £4.80 better in my pocket than theirs.
