I remember saying I was struggling and think they quoted from somewhere along the lines of getting bathed and dressed first. Pretty sure I didn't dream it but have no idea who it was.
You didn't dream it. Princess Melody was talking about the Fly Lady routine. Which is to get showered and dressed with shoes on before you start your day.
Fly lady is a very good programme to bring order back. She even goes so far as to say to wear 1 piece of jewelry. It also preaches little things to always do, like draining board clear before bedtime. As you add each little bit on order comes.
When cleaning you set a timer and do as much you can in say 10/15 minutes.
Ideas is to not get distracted.
My sister followed this for many years.
Hope your dd3 is starting to feel more comfortable and on the mend.
