Just forgot to mention that there was a lady promoting warburtons square wraps in A today. I declined a sample from her but asked if she was giving out vouchers. She looked down her nose at me and said they were ONLY £1, as if to say how on earth can you expect a voucher too......

More like putting people off. I dislike most of the "promoters", they stand there like they own the place and act like the whole world owes them a favour. Why do they do such jobs? I always thought bubbly friendly people would have suited that job better.

Yes, I remembered someone on here discussing it a while back so out of curiosity I had a nosey

The one I want is £20 in wickes and £27 in Tesco, but I'd use cc vouchers for it

I have always found them to be very welcoming. The Innocent juice promotion last week was a point in case. All flavours were available to sample with the promoter suggesting ALL were sampled. She then advised me how much they were and gave me a £1 off voucher immediately followed by another adding that If I purchased two and used both vouchers together I would get them for 50p each (which i did) whereas usually they'd be £2.18 each or 2F£3 :D

Today, a few car park spaces were adorned with astroturf and tables and chairs as Colemans/Hellmans were cooking up a BBQ. Lovely burgers and Hot Dogs, all FOC.
The presenters couldn't have been nicer eargerly suggesting to have as many burgers/hot dogs as you liked so you could sample all 10 of the sauces/relishes/mayos on promotion. No MOC,s but lots of free food :D

Makes wombling soooo much more enjoyable :D

Wow. Where do you live? I must visit.

I must say I do like the ones that are littered in train stations. They are supposed to give out one sample but because they can't be bothered (and want to finish up sooner), they let you have 10. Now those are good. They were once handing out 6 cans of some new pop that had just been released. The Nivea ones are also very good, I think I came away with like 20 items. Woop. Woop.

Hi there - usual last hour of opening dash to A. I've gone vs T on this one.

Shop of 8 different items consisted of the Hartley Jelly (5 different flavours!), which are currently on 3 for £1 in T. I'll be able to tell you which of them have been picked up vs M this week:j (M 3 for £1 too) for those doing vs M and not needing an extra shop to do vs T. Also find out whether there is a m'buy glitch on them (although we probably won't be able to tell which of them is causing the glitch:( as I've bought 5 varieties).

Also got the Cravendale (we only like semi-skimmed I'm afraid) - I like that they are 'pure filter' meaning - we wouldn't actually have needed more milk if all expiring in a week's time - but now we are sorted well into this month in case it doesn't glitch again. 5 jellies + Cravendale, 6 items!

One of the usual items. 7.

And just one more item and it was APG-valid! Excellent:j:j. Quite small spend as well:j. Results due around 1am. But... shops now shut, this will mean the info. will be ready and waiting for anyone shopping tomorrow!:)

Also - found a number of wombles! A surprise for me as it was so late - I thought they'd all be nabbed! I really must remember to take a £1 coin though, to separate trollies if necessary, rather than pushing it out, saw one receipt trapped under a trolley, couldn't resist as I saw most of the items had lines separating them - in other words age verifications - they have bought a lot of alcohol, although some are the same, there's more than 8 different items in total, and they've bought 2 wines as well. They also did not get any of them on A multibuys!:D:T I am hoping it could be a big one..!!

He was around at 3 o'clock this morning - though it seemed none of the usual bilge was going on (other people weren't posting and, instead, I was taking over the thread all night). I noticed he had thanked one of my posts at around that time but didn't post anything himself.
