    Evening all

Not been about much but finally caught up.

    Belated Happy Birthday to nannylala

Huge congratulations to TS and dd for the forthcoming pitter patter of tiny feet.

My dd and dgd went home last night. Had a fantastic few days with them. Weather was not on our side until yesterday when 4 generations of us girls had a trip to Port Lyme Zoo curtesy of cc points.
No warnings of all the hills but we went on the truck tour and saw elephants, zebras, giraffes ect then walked round the Palace of the Apes.
Dgd who is 11 months likes her 'cat cats' best and the Leopard was out playing.
    Had an amazing few days.
I decided to be a grandma as everyone else was going to be a nanny.

Traditionally paternal grand parent was grandmother and a maternal grandparent was a nanny.

In other exciting news I put a few paintings into an art sale for my tutors charity and today sold my watercolour cat. I had donated this one to the sale so no money for me but was supprised that my tutor had priced it at £20 as I would not have put it that high. Great feeling that someone actually paid for my work.
Anyone in the Bethenden area near ashford in kent, the sale is in the village hall and on for tomorrow as well. Nice little outing and tasty homemade cakes for sale as well.

Visited t's at P F on my way home and picked up my bzz trial cheese. On 3 for 2 and vouchers covered the full cost ( better than free from trial) so 3 and a nice couple of quid off my shopping.
Lots of wombles for cashback which I have not looked through yet and a nice 127 points to claim on one receipt. Never done this before, do you just go to cs and say you had forgotten your card on that day?

    TIA
    V x

:T Well done on your sale

The 15% off electricals does include computing is a valid tcb code so cashback on top - thanks FC :T and squills if still on here at all?

Also my shell card came today from mighty deals :)

Ive been having a look myself. My DS2s laptop will no doubt have died, or be close to it by Christmas. Im tempted to buy one of these now and keep for Christmas

Evening, all. Been looking for the £19 bin all day. I couldn't find one anywhere but I did get a load of whoppsie stuff and loads of Princes, Heinz and all other vouchery stuff :D

Off to sit with the OH and watch Jack Reacher (free film and popcorn - I got blu ray and lad didn't bat an eyelid.)

    HAve a good evening, all.

PS - I thought the dentist had the wrong tooth - feels like he did. I'm in agony. Time for the Lagavulin!
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Is there a reason for such a random question? I don't know the answer

    Patty!!!
The codes on the refill packs are half way down on the inside, so presume they are inside the tins too.

I went to T's earlier and bought a cute penguin that is actually an 8gb memory stick for £2.75. They also did a dog and a pirate. I also got street sign mugs rtc 50p eg chocolate close, gossip grove.
Plus square black side plates for 43p. Not bad considering I went for chorizo but forgot to get it!!!!

Something which worked out better today was my Sainsbobs shop this morning. Got a £7.87 BM against Tosco mainly due to Ariel comparing £6/£3 and Daz washing liquid (2 flavours) £4.10/£2.

    Hope this helps somebody

Saw that advert where they are all (horses, dancers, dogs and warriors) running on the beach, and wondered who would win a dog or a horse. Now greyhounds are fast in a short distance, so thought they would win, but horses are quick too. Then long distance, huskeys can move, but so can horses. Just curious really. Plus, if we find out the answer, with you not knowing it, you will have learnt something today, makes it all worth while :D

I love the Jack Reacher books, the film didn't compare. I suppose if you haven't read the books and don't have a mental picture of Reacher it might be better.
