Yes, I should try expanding. My children have accused me of piling cheese on things to hide bad cooking :eek::rotfl:

There are times that Im sad that I have no family. Extended or otherwise. And there are times when Im not sad about it at all. I hope that the situation sorts itself out :)

Very good news about the tooth. An unnecessary procedure avoided. Does this mean she can go ahead and have the brace fitted? We are awaiting the arrival of one last tooth for DS2 to have a brace fitted. Not looking forward to it at all. The orthodontist service is wonderful and has offered a Q&A session for him prior to having it done.....not a requirement, just a very thoughtful offer. And boy does he have alot of questions :D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Brace pre check up next Tues morning, have lots of questions myself, we have been going back and fore for around 3 years and we are near the fitting point now, lol.

She wants contacts instead of glasses and am tempted to console her for having brace but after her antics end of last week I am not sure she is ready.

Hi FC....keep your eyes open at whoopsie time for courgettes, aubergines, peppers and basil. Guess you have plenty of toms and olive oil in the house:) and you'll have all the ingredients for some lovely pasta meals, roasted Mediterranean vegetables etc:)

hmm....depends if she wants contacts for what reasons? My DS1 wears glasses full time and isn't remotely interested in contacts. I wore glasses as a kid and was incredibly self conscious, but glasses seem cool these days. Hopefully because more kids are having eye checks? Id suss out why she wants contacts
