No, none of the islands, not even the one on lake Bled - Me and boats..... Think it stems from the ferry crossing S island to N island in NZ and it was a bit choppy and you could hear people throwing up. Not been on a boat since

We do have dragonflies in the UK too

Just need a warm day, and a pond, and you'll see them. They love basking near the waters edge in the sun, drying their wings once they've gone throught their final nymph stage.

Dragonflies have inhabited the earth for approximately 300 million years. Fossilized remains reveal that primitive relatives of modern dragonflies had wingspans around 3 feet long.

Keep looking whilst you're out and about in the UK and make sure you have your camera with you

I remember a fabulous place I used to take DS's to as young children, Otley Chevin, the quarry area has a large pond, and we were fascinated by the dragonflies there, such beautiful shimmering colours.

You'll get lucky one day
