  • !!!!!!, so what am I paying for? This really makes me angry, not that everyone gets it for free and I'm jealous, but because everyone gets for free what I am paying for.

Surely I should be refunded for this free-to-air period? :(
Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

This is really a bump for CT's posting at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3752919 but I have ensured that Freeview is included within the title of this thread just so that Freeview customer's don't miss out.

This is the first time that ESPN is going unencrpted for freeview so will be interesting to see how it goes.

Offer starts at 6am tomorrow and finishes at 6am on Monday February 6. It includes the live Man City v Fulham premiership game at 1730hrs this Saturday.

Further details can be found at :

    http://www.espn.co.uk/espn/sport/story/132689.html

    http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/23012012/58/premier-league-uk-fans-free-air-premier-league-match.html

    HTHs.

Agreed but it ain't mentioned in the title of the previous thread; hence the reason for my new thread and referenced in my thread text to CT's.

A lot of MSE users (including me) just read the thread title and never read the thread text as they don't think that it is relevant for them.

I trust you now understand the rationale of my 'new' thread !

I really don't understand your logic/argument and you haven't advised how a MSE Freeview user would read a thread that doesn't contain the word Freeview in it's thread title.

Anywy rather than engage you in a subjective debate that will provide no value to any other MSE user, I PM'd MSEAndrea and as a consequence, I have now PM'd Crazyterrier to politely request that he/she amends his/her thread title to include the word 'Freeview' and to add a post in the thread to ensure that it gets to the top of the Freebies board. This should then enable Freeview users to become aware of the offer and hopefully get it.

    HTHs all freeview/sky/topuptv/btvision users.
  • also on freeview, thanks for the feedback
