One and hopefully only debt free diary

Hi everyone,
I've been reading a few diaries recently and have decided it's time to bite the bullet and start my own, but first i'll tell you a bit about myself.
I'm 26, work full time and live with my fiance and dog. We are getting married this September so the majority of our spare cash goes towards the wedding however we are getting help from our families too.
Our debt started with one interest free credit card, but thats all it took and now we have two credit cards, two loans and an overdraft.
Recently my OH (who finished a 6 month contract job) started temping and gets paid weekly (something we've never had to manage before) which has proven difficult. He starts a permanent job on 17th June which shall hopefully see us back on track with our DD payments although we won't be making much inroads with our debt until after the wedding.
We plan to use any money we receive from the wedding (we aren't having a gift list) to pay off as much of the debt as possible so that we can then focus on decorating our apartment.
I will update my signature regarding figures etc. I hope this diary keeps us motivated and focused as it's been very inspirational reading other peoples diaries who are in the same position as us and that are making progress

Good luck on your journey and pending wedding!
We got married just over a year ago and know how the money can just add up, it's as though wedding has it's own currency!

Yesterday we were at a christening. Managed to keep spends to £30 as I drove and stuck to cranberry juice.
Today should hopefully be a NSD which isn't difficult for us as a lot of the time we don't spend during the week.
On Mondays we go to my mums for dinner and she treats us with a chinese
:-).
Still have to get round to updating you all on our debt which i'll get the OH to help me with.Debt remaining:

Today was a successful NSD plus my OH work colleague gave us a double nectar point voucher for when we next get diesel.
We've also decided that after our wedding we want to sell our apartment (currently through co-ownership) and look for a house so we can start a family. If anyone has any tips for selling houses especially if they went through co-ownership would be really appreciated. It may mean moving in with my mum for a bit which we don't mind and should help us put some money aside too.Debt remaining:

Yesterday I had to pay £60 off a bill from our management company and out £25 of diesel into our car which usually lasts us over a fortnight.
OH also found out that he was being overtaxed in his temping job so is getting a refund of £217.80 on top of his weekly wage which will cover our direct debits for June.
I also made an enquiry with the estate agent who we bought the apartment from and she is looking into getting us a rough value of the flat if we wanted to try and sell it. Apparently the housing market is improving? It may mean moving into my mums which I don't mind, my only concern is that we can't get the same mortgage amount that we were offered before.Debt remaining:

Hello everyone, OH here
Today I have paid £25.58 off my CC and have set up a standing order to pay £25 every Friday to clear our overdraft. Unfortunately we went over our £400 limit and did not recieve any notification from Halifax about this and have incurred charges because of this but with us paying £100 a month off this it will not take long to clear so we can get rid of the account once and for all!!
