    I would have a serious look at various benefits you may be entitled to with MS especially as it progresses.

    I would look at how many of these are means tested and how they are means tested.

    You may find that trying to ensure you have enough money to live on in the first few years actually disadvantages you in certain areas.

    Also be aware that their are certain benefits at which eligibility stops at 65.

    I think in your case pension is only part of the picture.
