Cheap Glasses beware

I have just recieved my reading glasses from fashionspecs direct following a recomendation from this site.
I know they were cheap £26 for 2 pairs one being sunglasses, but in my oppinion they are cheap tack.
I am really dissapointed the quality of the frames are very cheap and sharp, the lenses are too thick for the frames making them protrude out, they sit at an angle on the face. I would have been better off going to the £1 shop and buying some off the peg specs.
I have sent an email asking for a full refund.
I really cant afford to buy new glasses from the opticians but sites like this make me cross they are nothing like the quality they portray them to be on their website. :mad:

Sorry to hear of your experiences calm seas. There are some real good guys out there. Try https://www.justrimless.com or https://www.spex4less.com Ive used both and think they are really good. justrimless seem to do standard lenses really thin (I have a cyl of -2.25 (which incidently fashion specs direct wont even let me enter on their website! (FSD wont reply to my emails either!!!). Spex4less also do a no questions asked refund if you are unhappy so you can order risk free
