Intempo DAB radio £29.97 in Tesco

Options
Found the Intempo KTC01 DAB and FM radio in Tesco Scunthorpe today for £29.97. It didn't have a special offer label, but it did have a 'new at Tesco' label, so it should be around for a while. Been waiting to see this model cheap for a couple of years, when I first saw the model (in a different colour) it was £80. This one is cream, if you're interested. I've been waiting for this model to come down in price since I saw it recommended in Which? along with the pure evoke 1 and 2 (it looks like a cream evoke 2 but smaller).

Got it home and found 39 stations to listen to! I'm sure there will be comments about the proposed new standard for DAB which this won't be compatable with, but it's good value and the change shouldn't happen for years.:money:

I was lucky enough to buy the light blue version of this in Boots when they were doing a stock clearance a few months ago - for the princely sum of £10!!! I have been very happy with it - it is still a great bargain at the Tesco price!

Sometimes the Tesco bargains do come back into stock so keep checking even if you have signed up to the email service - that isn't always as fast to update you as manual checking of the website.

Couldn't wait for the morning to come ...
Went to my nearest 24 hour Tesco. Picked up a stone in the brakes of the car as I entered their car park. Sat waiting for the RAC for nearly 2 hours.
And Tesco's was closed overnight for refurbishment ....

    Better luck tmorro ;)

Yep. They've got them in store. Counted 20 on the shelves in my local Tesco Extra. Got one for my old mans Fathers Day.
They're quite attractive, a creme coloured plastic casing (thick plastic, almost like bakelite), takes batteries as well as mains power, DAB & FM, stereo with 4 presets.
    Thanks again to ILikeFreebies :)
