So many mistakes on paperwork

We bought a house from a new development under the new 'help to buy' scheme last month.
We have had the mortgage offer, the deeds and a whole bunch of paperwork from the solicitors but on every single piece of paperwork our names are spelled incorrectly, a number of different ways, I am even referred to as MR in a few documents. Our address is incorrect on two documents and both of our names our wring on the deeds.
Am I right in thinking that this invalidates all of this paperwork? I feel like after a month of paperwork we now have to start all over again at the beginning!
Our exchange of contracts date was supposed to 20th (five days ago) but obviously nothing has moved forward.

You do need to make sure the paperwork is accurate.0

Yes, ask your prospective lender for a revised offer with your correct details.
It's not a good start to the relationship if the offer is wrong, let's hope it improves when the mortgage completes!Early retired - 18th December 2014
