transfer of equity

Trying to keep it short: existing joint mortgage with my former partner, I am currently in the process of removing his name from the mortgage and title deed. Hopefully. Halifax approved the transfer to my name after they credit scored me, then consent letter (offer in sole name) was sent by H to my solicitor. Both me and ex partner signed the transfer deed which was sent to back to Halifax last week.
The thing is, I stupidly applied for an AMEX credit card and a new current bank account (Halifax reward with overdraft) - after receiving the consent letter from Halifax and after I was credit scored for the transfer of equity by Halifax - and I'm now concerned that this will have an impact on the current transfer of equity. Please tell me that at this stage it won't matter and no more checks will be done... Thanks!

Assuming you complete the Transfer of Equity within six months, it would be unlikely (although not impossible) that they would credit score you again.
After six months, the system would want you to be re-credit scored. I mention this because Transfers have a habit of dragging on.
So, if you complete the Transfer quickly, and don't want any amendments to your Consent, they probably won't have a need to re-credit score youEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Thanks. The solicitor has just sent the signed transfer deed to Halifax so I guess I'm safe? After that it's just a matter of registering at land registry I believe... or am I missing a step?0
