Help...3 causing chaos !!!

Need some urgent advice. I shal try and sum this up as quick as I can.

I experienced extreme financial hardship back in Jan, spoke to Step Change and came to payment plans with most of my creditors.

I contacted 3 ( have a few contracts with them ) explained my circs, and was told the could not help me until I defaulted on payments and as my payments were up to date, they could not assist. I did as the suggested and did not pay ( couldn't anyway ) eventually after trying for days got through to someone who stated the best they could offer me was to pay the full amount every month, well obviously I couldn't, so they suggest I wait until I hear from a debt collection agency.
Fast forward to now....I have now received 4 letters from 4 different debt companies for arrears of each contract that I owe so far.
I do not understand why 3 has not sent all of my accounts to the one agency to deal with and now I am arranging monthly payments for arrears owed so far ! to each company. I asked if they would now take on the remainder of the contract and was told they don't know ? they have just been instructed to collect arrears. I am stressed out and don't know what to do.

I have contacted 3 between Jan and now 5 times by email and phone. Email.....no response at all and calling kept on hold for up to 30 mins then passed to an Indian call centre. Feel like hitting my head off a brick wall.

I have never refused to pay them, simply seeking reduced pymts until such time I was in a better financial footing to resume full pymts and start paying off arrears also owed.

I do not have a clue what to do? whether 3 will send my accounts to one debt collector ? whether they will pass the remainder of my contracts to them or every few months be bombarded by threatening letters? Stumped...please help :(:(

Have you spoken to Stepchange and asked for their advice? Why did you have four different contracts with 3? Can you post an SOA so people can give you advice about how to maximise what you have available?
