Help for a young dancer

My Daughter has been offered a place at a theatre college. As it is privately funded she cannot get a student loan from the government's Student Loan Company. However she can get a Personal Career Development Loan, where repaynments are started as soon as the course finishes. The fees are £18,000 over two years and we do not want to saddle her with an enormous debt.
Has anyone been down this route; have any ideas on additional funding sources; or any advice that may help.
Thanks

I remember hearing something about performing arts students being able to get funding separately at some point. I had a look and here's a link that might help:

Applications are now closed this time round, but next time might help out? I'm sorry I haven't got any more info, I hope somebody else can help you further.0 -
This is the appropriate funding for this area but she needs to be prepared for the fact that it's very competitive.

Can not offer any advice sorry...
But think it is such a shame that potentially talented people are put off because of a lack of funding.Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0 -
Maybe she should consider a conventional degree.0

I know several people who make a living from the performing arts, all of them trained at departments within ordinary universities funded by student loans. I'll admit its not my area of expertise but what makes the £18,000 course better?
Has she applied to any dance/performing arts degrees as a backup?0
