UKPC PCN causing worries for 18yr old

Hi all, just looking for some reassurance for my daughters 18 year old boyfriend. I have read a lot of these threads and know we should ignore any UKPC related charge notices and letters, but he is worried as are his parents.
My daughters boyfriend parked outside our house to pop in to ask me to move my car further down the drive so he could park on the drive. There is a lampost directly outside our house with a UKPC sign on it, but we have generally just ignored it and complained to the management company that it affects the value of the house :-)
To cut a long story short, he got a ticket, I told him to ignore it, but to keep it and any letters that come through. He got the Debt Recovery + letter this week and it's rattled him a bit.
I've put together a list of links to recent posts and also the chain of letters he should expect, but I thought if I posted about his specific case and got some responses from you guys out there, it would help ease his mind. Apologies that you may end up repeating yourselves, but he's a nice lad who works hard to run his pride and joy and he's scared about getting demands for £150+
Thanks all

He appears to be so far down the 'ignore' track that continuing to ignore is the way to go.
However, do you have a timeline of events just in case there is another route available to him? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Tell him to ignore it and zenith collections when they write, they are the same company , they also have gender issues as James becomes Claire across the companies, they share the same signature. They are a pathetic debt collector who have zero/zilch powers! They cannot affect his credit rating, the boys won't turn up at the door.
As for ukpc, they don't do court, are equally as pathetic and can be ignored, they are responsible for the largest breach of the dpa act in recent history. If they did try court it would be defended with help from here and pepipoo.comWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Was he eighteen when his car was ticketed? The preposterous notion that the PPCs have is that you enter into a contract with them by reading their signs. If he was seventeen he could not have entered into a contract.0

Yes he was 18, but only just0

Not really - just the time on the ticket and the ensuing letters. I think we are too late to go down the new appeals process that was introduced last October, so think that just ignoring the bogus letters is our only option.0 -
The only options are ignore or pay unless he's not the registered keeper of the vehicle, then another avenue maybe could be used providing this is England or WalesWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

Go with 'ignore', but come back if you need any further help.
Tell your daughter's b/f to relax. You've been very good to him taking this up on his behalf.

Dear ''NA72's daughter's 18 year old boyfriend'',
This is a complete scam and you are doing the right thing by ignoring it.
My 19 year old niece has just go her 9th fake PCN and just texted me to laugh about it! She ignores them all even though I have told her there's an appeal option for new ones now. She knows it's a scam and that this latest one she got is from a firm who don't do Court, she's happy to file the threatograms and show her friends!
And your fake ticket is also from a firm who never do Court!
This is UKPC's experience of Court (against them only):

Like loads of threads on here and even more on pepipoo forum, you have got one of the computerised standard letters that everyone gets!
