ASDA - John West Red Salmon 19p a tin

Hi all,

I've just come back from Asda and bought 4 tins of John West Red Salmon. Reduced to only £1 from £2.31.

At the till I got a further reduction of £3.24 thus making it only 19p each. Oh, an thats the 213g tin.

No clubcard points. If you had paid with a tesco credit card you would of got clubcard points.
Is there a way of going through quidco for this and pay with tesco credit card

You can still use your tesco credit card in Asda

Went to Asda after work around 11pm. They had some on the shelf, showed as regular price £2.31 for 213g, risked it and added 4 tins to my other shopping, they did discount £3.24 as a multibuy somehow and worked out at 19p a tin. so thanks ....

Incidently I also got 5 different flavours of the flavor delight they do (their version of Angel Delight) these are normally 30p each and they gave a multibuy saving of 20p each (5 for £1) they are already reduced on rollback (maked in the shelf) so it was the multibuy that seems to be still in place too but again not showing on the shelf. And I got the Durablend stick blender for £3.97, they were £4.99 too, so saved a bit last night.

There were not a lot of tins left and 4 tins will do me fine, just not sure how long this offer will be there.

Great spot! This was working fine this morning! I have a feeling the management know about it, though, as there were must have been 60-70 cans of this on the shelf and not a price sign to be seen anywhere. Risked 4 and worked like a dream, so went back for another 8 (please don't say this is greedy, there were loads left, plus I told 2 old ladies about the glitch and they each put 4 tins in their trolleys, so my conscience is clear!). Upshot is we have ended up with 12 tins of this stuff for a total of £2.28, i.e. 3p less than the 'proper' price for 1 tin!

I got the last 8 tins today in my local asda and they came out at 19p per tin.

Is this the Wild Red Salmon or just Red Salmon ?

My local today had Red Salmon 213g roll back to £1 and Wild Red Salmon 213g at £2.39 or thereabouts

Wasnt sure which one worked so didnt bother

funny how the fishermen rape the seas and then asda rape them right back by paying them nothing for their produce- kind of a disgusting karma the supermarkets have going on

This was not working at Asda Lancaster today. I bought 4 tins and they were £1 each. AAAgghghh! Never mind!

Think Asda have cottoned on. I found some in Spennymoor today.
The cashier put two through and then pressed some buttons on the keypad before putting the other two through and I got charged £1 each.
If you find some anywere it migh be worth giving the self-scan tills a try
