Friday morning payday Whoohoo !
Confession time 6 weeks ago I came so stupidly close to clearing debts just about completely then got so complacent and decided to have a month off and also helped out my eldest son move out and to be honest shopping got me thru the worst weekend of my life when he moved out, soooo operation get clear of debt starts today....
Grocery challenge has to be started and stuck too.( my fridge freezer cupboard is chocka ) getting used to shopping for just hubby myself and my 6 year old is so hard...
Need to set up direct debit for council tax as I've put last 2 months on credit card simply through spending too much.
Need to keep cutting back on gas and elec which we really have done well with recently.
Need to write a shopping list for my sons summer clothes and put everything to small for him on Facebook..(this is stressing me out bigtime so needs to be done ASAP as he's outgrown everything apart from uniforms., luckily shoes were done in last months spending spree along with hubbys in Clarke's...
Cup of coffee tonight and TOT up EVERYTHING owed and plan to get this back in control..
Going to join a few challenges and knuckle down ...

You seem to have got it sorted now.
We all go off track every so often. It's facing up to it and getting back on that is the challenge.
You couldn't have not helped your son, so it was a reasonable lapse.
You also have a good plan to pay off the rest of the debt - I expect to see a post soon saying you are debt-free:T
Best wishesAiming to get healthy in 2014.0 -
Well done for getting back on track

Well I've been brave and checked online and it wasn't really as bad as I thought £706.96 on 2 cards plus approx £150 on overdraft haven't been that brave lol but I have put £100 in bank this afternoon and know child benefit is due and tax credits so will keep the overdraft managable until hubbys pay goes in next Friday...so ill round up to £900 plus 1 catalogue bill which I have decided to allow to tick along as I only buy whats necessary and when offers on plus never go over £150 on there...
Had a natter with hubby and he has agreed that we don't need to panic too much about debt and instead of clearing it with every penny for 6 weeks we have we can afford to clear it a little slower and actually live in between, I can totally see his point we have cleared our summer holiday, paid off all our catalogues apart from mine, paid upfront our xmas vouchers so xmas is covered in last 4 months and like I said earlier got just about debt free... so plan is £200 a month off cards and anything extra to start an emergency fund hopefully of £500 by xmas soooooooo here we go ...June groc chal-£42/£220.

Got half a dozen pics to hang tomorrow and going to turn a giant framed pic into a collage of family photos think 10 years is long enough looking at the same pic.... Once that's done I can put bedrooms back together and do a pile of ironing from hell ! Hoping for a little sun too just to strip my bed so Monday after work is all mine ...June groc chal-£42/£220.

Went through the christmas cupboard yesterday surprised whats left there really as we don't buy for many people other than each other and our kids we should be fine but going to start putting away some money with tesco this month ready for sons Ipad which he asked for few months ago and know he will use all the time, we also have next and love2shop vouchers with next ticking away nicely and few hundred commission so christmas will be just about covered really, I just have to quit this spending willy nilly on credit cards im sick of making repayments now even tho its things we do need 90% can wait till end of month...
