guilty of brushing under the carpet

Options
having split with my wife last year i've spent the last few months trying to clean up the financial mess that we were in, not that im passing her all the blame but she is financially out of control, and im not great with money, so i kind of got used to the debt letters comin in and basically getting filed under S for shred, its mostly outstanding unpaid utilty bills that never got paid, ive managed to clear £4k worth of debt since september of debt, so i know i can do it, the problem is hunting all the little ones and managing them all in one go and start trying to clean my credit up, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Well done you for clearing 4k!

Have you checked your credit reports? Do a 30 day free trial on both experian and equifax and sign up for noddle which is the call credit one.

Between them you should be able to find all your remaining debt. Also check if you are financially associated to your ex and get that removed as you are now divorced and you don't want any of her future mistakes affecting you.

    Agreed, check your reports.

If you have moved, make sure your mail is being forwarded and you give the creditors you current address.

    Good luck
