If a company makes you bankrupt do you still have to pay the fee's! One of the companies keeps threatening us with it, shall we just tell them to go ahead as we are doing so anyway once we have enough money saved.
Also we are about to move into a rented place and we have not yet gone bankrupt, the landlord is aware of the situation but wants to know if the house will be blacklisted! Or is it just us!!

Yes. You can, as it will save you the fees.
But beware:
This is a common scare tactic, and very few companies will actually make you BR. It normally costs them far more than they ever get back.
Keep saving the fees.

Your landlord should be assured that Credit Reference Files now legally refer to an individual, under the Data Protection Act.
