small changes I have made are working and I can see my debts reducing I over paid on my argos card last month and managed to save £45 in estimated interest, I also had a PPI payment paid and I paid it straight off my Credit card so thats 1 down!!

I have been reading all the posts and have taken some good advice from all you lovely people.:)

Yes DP is next and another £250 of argos as interest finishes this month! using the snow ball method to try and get it paid quicker! I am very focussed and keep writing everything down and doing spread sheets on a weekly basis and try and pay a little something off extra each week - Argos card was my focus this month and when I have worked out how to update my signature I will see the improvements x

  • Well done, Smithy81 - you sound totally focused.

Do you know how your credit rating stands? Just wondering if you could apply for any 0% or life of balance, low rate cards for you to transfer money to.
