Asking for application feedback

Back in December I applied for a job where I really thought I had a good chance of at least getting an interview but typically I didn't even get that.
Last week, I saw the job re-advertised, abet with a few additional duties so I replied and again hoped to get at least an interview.
As I haven't heard anything I again assume that I haven't been shortlisted.
Is it worth asking for feedback or would I be wasting mine and their time?

You could phone them to ask for an interview, explain how keen you are and demonstrate initiative. Make sure they know you weren't declined first time, just didn't get to interview stage. Your personality might win them over. I interview lots of people and I like the folk who "get up & go" rather than than post the application form and sit back to wait. Good luck.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Any more posts you want to make on something you obviously know very little about?"
Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.
